Trifecta

Thanks to Presidents day, I had a 3 day weekend to play with and I tried to make the most of it. Saturday was the weekly Oval, which thanks to a generous tail wind, went out stupid fast. I limped home with about 5 hours in the legs. Sunday had some crappy weather in the forecast so Sarah and I headed up to Happy Jack for some skate skiing. However, snow up there on Saturday night made for some very slow and taxing conditions. Yesterday, to finish the legs off, I headed out on the SS CX bike that I picked up from Jeff a few months back for 60+ miles of grinding and spinning. Not a huge weekend in terms of hours, but mixing it up sure left it's toll, and goes a long way in preventing mid-July burnout.

In other news, the Park City Point 2 Point sold out yesterday in something like 5 hours.  Did you get in?  It's a great sign for the sport that events like this are so popular, but I just hope that the number of quality events is enough to prevent the sign-up rushes that Ironman events see every year.
