This week is a taper week in preparation for the Firecracker tommorow, and I sure am feeling the effects. For instance, on last nights ride all I wanted to do was stand and SPRINT. My legs are like a 10 yr old kid who just drank a 2 liter of Mt. Dew...they just want to Go Go Go. !! Anyway, instead of talking about my lame easy rides this week, here's some random nonsence.

My commuter bike. I know, I know, you don't have to tell me how jealous you are. The entire build cost me $0 and it even has some pieces of flair to make it faster. For left crank which matches beautifully with the front rim, also, PBR bar end caps....bling bling! It gets me the 3 miles to and from work everyday, and that's all I need.

Think you ride your bike alot? Check out Ward and Jacky, some friends of mine from Decorah who are on a 4 yr trip to ride around the world. Back when my brother and I were touring, everyone spoke english, I can't imagine riding some of the places they are.
I get to do this twice tomorrow...10,600 ft of climbing...I'm pumped.
I still have this idea rattling around in my noggin....and it may be getting longer, stay tuned.
The first of the little blue blips has made it to Mexico. Someday...
Time to race.
